WHAT is going on with these two?
Last updated 10th Feb 2018
Up there with Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy, Ant McPartlin’s divorce antics, and whether Survival of the Fittest really will fill the Love Island shaped hole in our lives, Chris Hughes and Olivia’s relationship has been one of the more mysterious aspects of showbiz news over the past month.
Are they happy? Have they split up? Is this all just a big front for their upcoming show?
Chris has now come along and confused us even more, after writing a cryptic caption on one of his Instagram photos.
Alongside a picture of him and a lovely dog, he wrote, 'The closest people eventually let you down. These animals don’t. My Polar Bear equivalent.' sic
BUT IN A HUGE PLOT TWIST, he’s now updated the caption to read, 'She won't let me down. My Polar Bear equivalent. 🐕'. sic

Marcel Somerville
In completely brand new information - Marcel was in the 90's band Blazin Squad. WE KNOW RIGHT. He's so modest about that sort of thing.
This comes after it was reported that Chris is ‘furious’ with Olivia after she sent flirty messages to her footballer ex Bradley Dack.
Replying to a video shared by the Blackburn Rovers Twitter account showing Bradley wearing a yellow training top, Olivia wrote, 'Yellow suits you'.
She also replied to the tweet saying, 'fatty', and later added, 'hey'.
Chris then tweeted Olivia and Bradley saying 'interesting' early the following morning. His message has now also been deleted.
This came after Olivia was photographed looking cosy with Bradley in August, with a source saying at the time, "He's furious and heartbroken to see her all over someone else.
"It’s clear that they are more than just mates, so he’s dumped her."
Despite that drama, the pair shut down split reports and have seemed very loved up until now.
Chris and Olivia met when they both appeared on Love Island in the summer of 2017. Leaving the villa as a couple, the pair lost out on winning to their friends Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.
Despite splitting the £50,000 winnings, Kem and Amber announced they'd broken up in December.
Releasing a statement at the time, Kem said, "With sadness, we’ve decided to separate.
"We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us. We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends."
Despite their split, a number of other couples from Love Island 2017 are still going very strong.
Blazin' Squad's Marcel Somerville is still with personal trainer Gabby Allen, and Jamie Jewitt's romance with Camila Thurlow is still very much on the up.
