Former Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson has announced she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend, former X Factor and Ex On The Beach star Casey Johnson.

Marnie, who is due in October 2019, announced her happy news to OK! Magazine, showing off her four-month baby bump to fans.

The 27-year-old opened up about her past in the interview, admitting she thought she'd never be able to have children following her alcohol abuse during her time on MTV reality show Geordie Shore.

She told the publication, “Because I’d done Geordie Shore I’d convinced myself that I couldn’t have kids because of all the alcohol abuse."

The reality star, who started dating Casey in June 2017, also opened up about the upcoming birth, saying, “I’m really nervous. I can’t even talk about it, I get so scared. I’ll make sure I’ve got some lip gloss and eyeliner. I don’t want to be a mess!"

Sherlock actor and his theatre director wife Sophie Hunter are expecting their third child together in March 2019. Although neither of them have officially confirmed the news, Sophie is thought to have had her dress custom-made to accommodate her baby bump.

As well as announcing the couple's lovely baby news, Marnie, who has also appeared on the likes of Celebrity Big Brother, Ex On The Beach and Single AF, also bravely opened up about the abortion she had when she was 19.

Marnie bravely said, “When I look back I definitely feel I made the right decision. I don’t regret it. I was so young, I didn’t have a job, a driving licence, or any money."

Meanwhile, despite Marnie's initial nerves about the birth, it seems her boyfriend Casey cannot wait for his newborn to arrive. He said, "I don’t think you’re ever ready until it happens, but we’re so excited. It feels amazing."

Casey appeared on The X Factor in 2014, where Simon Cowell put him into boy band Stereo Kicks. The group split in 2015 as they failed to get a record deal. Casey then joined Union J after George Shelley left the band. However, he was dropped from the band just after one year due to the group being taken over by new management who believed the singer didn't fit the image.

Congratulations to Marnie and Casey on their lovely news! 👶
