Katie Price has avoided jail after admitting to drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance following a crash near her home in West Sussex.
The former glamour model, 43, was given a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, over the collision on the B2135 near Partridge Green on September 28th.
She was also banned from driving for two years, will have to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, and has been ordered to 20 sessions of rehabilitation work with probation.
Sentencing Price at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (December 15th), District Judge Amanda Kelly told the star her actions were "incredibly selfish" and that when she "chose to get behind the wheel... intoxicated" she showed "no concern at all for the life of others".
She went on to say:
"Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time. You knowingly and deliberately flouted a court order and not for the first time.
"You seem to think you are above the law."
The court had previously hear Price was driving to visit a nearby friend when the crash occurred at around 6.20am.
Following the collision, she told police:
"I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all".
Price was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital.
The court heard a drugs wipe gave a positive reading for cocaine and a roadside breath test was positive for alcohol.
An image shared by police from the scene showed a car flipped on its side.
Price admitted the offences at a previous hearing at the same court on September 29th.
At that hearing, her sentencing was adjourned on the condition that she have treatment at the Priory Centre, not commit any further offences, and be banned from driving in the interim.
