If you cast your minds back to the very start of the year when the words 'furlough' and 'social-distancing' weren't part of our daily lives, the nation were torn over bonkers new ITV show The Masked Singer.
The concept, which is basically a bunch of celebrities dressing up in amazing costumes whilst judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Ken Jeong attempt to guess who is behind the mask, divided the nation at first, but by the time Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts was crowned the winner, we were all hooked!
Well, if you are a fan of the show which is hosted by the lovely Joel Dommett, you'll have been pleased when ITV confirmed there would be a second series earlier this year - with comedian Mo Gilligan standing in for Ken.

Now, after filming for series two kicked off in September, bosses have confirmed the show will return to our TV screens on Boxing Day (26th December). That's right, you can get cosy and tuck into your Christmas leftovers while enjoying the hit show!
Ken Jeong hasn't been able to fly to the UK due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, therefore popular comedian Mo Gilligan has joined the series two judging panel in Ken's place, alongside Davina, Rita and Jonathan.
As ITV have confirmed that Ken hasn't been 'replaced' by Mo, it is understood he will still feature in some format.
Speaking about his involvement in series two, Mo said, "It’s a real privilege to be joining The Masked Singer team. It’s one of the funniest shows out there and I’m really proud to play my small part to help bring a little bit of joy to the nation. I can’t wait to join Jonathan, Rita, Davina, Joel and hopefully Ken! Now… let’s get cracking."
The Masked Singer is back on our TV's on Boxing Day (26th December) at 7pm on ITV.
