After this year's cast was unveiled earlier this week, excitement has now heated up even further for the 2022 series of Married At First Sight UK, as E4 bosses have now confirmed the official start date!
When does MAFS UK start?
E4 bosses have now confirmed the 2022 series of Married At First Sight UK will begin at 9pm on Monday 29th August.
Announcing the news on social media, MAFS UK bosses shared a wedding invite with the words: 'You are cordially invited to the weddings of the year. Ceremonies commence Monday 29th August. Save the date!' (sic)
As expected, fans were quick to comment on the post, with many expressing their excitement for the arrival of the 2022 series and tagging their friends to allude them to the news.
Who is taking part in MAFS UK 2022?
Earlier this week, 16 brand new singletons were revealed for the 2022 series, including the show's the first ever lesbian couple, following the success of gay couple Matt and Daniel last year.

Taking to Instagram when the new series was first announced, he said: 'Personally, I've never been more excited to watch a TV project I've worked on than this upcoming series of @e4mafsuk.
'In every way, we've become better - from the diversity of the cast (in age, geography, political beliefs, socioeconomic, sexuality, and race), visually the director has delivered cinematic brilliance, and the experts are stronger than before in our analysis and coaching. The production team worked their a--es off and delivered at the highest level.
'Dare I say this could be the best series of reality TV love/relationship content EVER produced'. (sic)
