Seb plucks up the courage to call Alina, but when the line suddenly goes dead his suspicions are aroused. Turning up at the nail salon, Abi distracts Rachel and Seb goes looking for Alina.
Heading through the back door to the shop he finds her sitting on a grubby mattress in a tiny upstairs room, and his horrified to realise that she's living in the salon.
As Seb begins to tell Alina that she doesn't need to live like this, they're interrupted by Rachel and Seb hides. Listening to their conversation, he's distressed when Rachel threatens Alina and Seb realises she's been people trafficked.
Alina begs Seb to keep her secret and that she's working to earn back her debt before she can send money home to her family. Keeping watch over the salon, Seb is shocked when he sees Jan emerge and vows to confront him.
Later on at No. 11 Seb confronts Jan over what he was doing at the nail salon, but Jan is adamant that Seb is just looking for a fight because Alina isn't interested him.
Determined to prove his point, Seb confronts Jan about what he found out about Rachel and her husband and accuses Jan of being involved in their people trafficking rig – just as Eileen walks in.
When a depressed Kate staggers downstairs mid-afternoon with yet another hangover, and irritated Jenny quips that a job and paying rent might be good for her self esteem.
In a bid to increase profits, Jenny and Johnny discuss converting the Rovers into a B&B, but Jenny is clearly taking the idea more seriously than Johnny is.
Soon Jenny has called in Ed who comes round to take a look at the pub. Agreeing to help out, Ed says that he'll draw up some plans and get a quote over to her. Jenny is thrilled, as Kate looks on.
When Ed turns up the next day and begins taking measurements of Kate's room to convert, it's clear that she's trying to get rid of Kate and Johnny is uneasy about costs.
Kate announces her plans to go travelling and asks her dad for £3k to fund the trip, incensing Jenny even more. When Kate then decides she's going back to her job at the bistro to pay for the trip herself, Jenny is satisfied.
Later on, Johnny and Jenny are discussing the potential cost of the conversion. Johnny tells Jenny that he's not happy with how she's treating Kate, and warns her not to make him choose between them.
Meanwhile, Robert is alarmed to receive an urgent call from Tyler saying Vicky's been taken ill. Arriving at the hospital, a shaken Vicky tells Robert she's sick of playing second fiddle to Michelle.
When the doctors tell Vicky that she's suffering from gall stones but the baby is fine, they're both relieved. Robert promises Vicky that from now on she'll be his main priority.
Later on, a proud Vicky tells Robert that Tyler has been invited to the Youth Foundation awards, and invites him along. But soon Robert works out that the awards ceremony is the same event that Michelle and Alya are catering.
Robert is determined to keep his two lives (and women) separate and tries to persuade Vicky to stay home from the event and look after her health, but he's soon shocked to see her and Tyler across the room helping themselves to canapés.
Panicking, Robert corners Vicky and convinces her to go home, for the sake of the baby and avoiding stress. As she agrees, Robert pulls her in for a protective hug...
... but the couple are interrupted by Tracy, who is surprised to see them together. Thinking back to Steve's revelation last week, Tracy's suspicions increase. Is the jig up for Robert?
In order to throw everyone off the scent, Robert calls a meeting for Bistro employees and announces that he's going to be making some changes.
Robert encourages Michelle to accept an offer from Ray for an Events Manager role across all of his chains, in the hope that it will keep her busy and get her off his back.
But Alya's not happy with the turn of events – especially when Robert says he's planning on promoting Kate to manager, who's only just returned to work.
After the stunt she pulled last week, Sophie is torn about whether or not she wants to let Paula back into her and her family's life. With a sincere apology from Paula, it looks like they might be back on track.
But Kevin is not so quick to forgive and tells Paula she's not welcome at No. 13. After some friendly advice from Tim, Kevin has a change of heart and tells Paula that as long as she makes Paula happy, he's happy.
Kevin still refuses to admit that he liked having Abi at the garage, but when she loses her new job as a rival garage for trapping the managers fingers underneath a hood, he's secretly pleased.
When Abi asks for her job back, Kevin and Tyrone are in stitches, telling her she can come back as long as she controls herself! Kevin chucks a set of overalls at her and Abi is thrilled.
Observing their top bantz, Sally can't help but notice the chemistry between Abi and Kevin and wonders if there might be the potential for more than friendship between them.
With Claudia currently staying at No.1 while her flat is done up, Tracy is peeved when she begins making some "home improvements" of her own, nagging Ken to clear out some of his stuff.
Realising that Claudia is making herself a little too comfortable in his home, Ken sits down with her and promises he'll help her settle into a new place as soon as possible.
Faye announced she was leaving the hugely popular ITV soap in April, following Kym Marsh and Lucy Fallon's announcement that they would also be leaving the show.

I’ve loved playing Kate Connor, but she needs a break for a little while and so with a song in my heart I'm off to pastures new'.
Fans were quick to comment on Faye's latest post, with one Coronation Street fan writing, 'The Joseph family are going to miss Kate on our screen. But we are all sending you only the best vibes for your future endeavours which I know you'll smash. Good luck lovely xxx'. Another added, 'Gonna miss you on coronation street. Good luck and all the best for what you do in the future'. sic.
