With the original series of Gogglebox being one of the most popular shows on the box, we were over the moon when spin-off show Celebrity Gogglebox graced our screens, and now there's been seven full series!

Whilst we await the eighth series, here's everything you need to know about Celebrity Gogglebox.

When is Celebrity Gogglebox returning?

Celebrity Gogglebox series eight returns Friday 5th June 2026 at 9pm on Channel 4.

Which celebrities will appear in series 8?

Channel 4 has confirmed the new line-up kicking off this week's first episode of Celebrity Gogglebox series eight.

Some of the new famous faces joining the Gogglebox family this series include TV personality and KISS presenter Olivia Attwood and her mum Jennifer, Gladiators stars Harry and Matt, better known as Nitro and Legend, content creators George Clark and Max Balegde, and comedian and actor Julian Clary alongside actor and TV presenter Nigel Havers.

Speaking about her appearance on the show, Olivia Attwood said: "Doing Celebrity Gogglebox with my mum was chaotic but in the best possible way. It’s not often that we agree on things which I think the viewers may find entertaining. My family are huge fans of the show so it’s a real honour to be a part of such an iconic British programme."

Matt, aka Legend, added: "Everyone knows how good I am at being on TV, but turns out I’m even better at watching it. Wow. Absolutely incredible sofa performance. Anyway, I had a great time on the show and I need to say a massive thank you to Gogglebox for literally paying me to watch TV. What a time to be alive."

On his experience, Julian Clary noted: "Doing Celebrity Gogglebox was an absolute treat, a perfectly civilised way to spend an evening. I do like to think my commentary brought a certain level of refinement to proceedings, and Nigel managed to stay awake, although there is an unsightly stain on my sofa."

Other familiar faces to expect include Rylan Clark with his mum Linda, Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Bez and Shaun Ryder, Roman and Martin Kemp alongside Ashley Banjo and Perri Kiely, and Nick Grimshaw with his niece Liv.

Also returning are Rob Beckett and Tom Allen, Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aléshé, Denise van Outen and Johnny Vaughan, and Vicky Pattison and Pete Wicks - and some surprise guests.

What is Celebrity Gogglebox?

Celebrity Gogglebox was first created as a charity special for Stand Up To Cancer, but after the show's success, Channel 4 decided to turn the concept into a real series, with the first series hitting our screens in 2019.

There's since been seven series to date, with series eight arriving on Friday 5th June 2026

When was it last on TV?

Series seven of Celebrity Gogglebox started in June 2025, but fans were given an extra treat on 12th December, in the form of a special for Stand Up To Cancer.
