Winner revealed for The Celebrity Circle 2021

After announcing which famous faces would be taking part in a charity version of hit show The Circle in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, the show hit Channel 4 on Tuesday 9th March, and it has been keeping us entertained for the last week!

As the civilian series of the show begins on Tuesday 16th March, here's everything you need to know about The Celebrity Circle in case you missed the show!

Who won The Celebrity Circle?

British rapper Lady Leshurr was crowned the first ever winner of The Celebrity Circle, catfishing her co-stars as fellow rapper Big Narstie.

After being crowned the winner, an emotional Lady Leshurr said, "I feel like such an idiot for crying. I initially did this because I lost my sister to breast cancer, and literally, this means everything to me, thank you, guys, honestly. I can't believe it."

WINNER: Lady Leshurr (playing Big Narstie)

2ND PLACE: Saffron Barker (playing herself)

3RD PLACE: Denise Van Outen (playing herself) and duo Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks (playing Rachel Riley)

Who took part in The Celebrity Circle?

Denise Van Outen

Denise has been a familiar face on our TV screen's for years, including recently appearing on The Masked Singer as the Fox.
The TV star has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women and EastEnders.

Duncan James

Duncan James is best known for being in the boy band Blue. He has also featured in Hollyoaks as the character Ryan Knight.
More recently he has been on our screen's on TV shows such as First Dates Hotel and Pointless Celebrities.

Sam Thompson

Sam is best known for being one of the most popular cast members on E4's Made in Chelsea.
Sam is very familiar with being on reality TV as he also starred in the 2017 series of Celebrity Big Brother along with two series of Celebs Go Dating.

Pete Wicks

Pete is best known for starring in The Only Way is Essex, along with also featuring on Celebs Go Dating with bestie Sam Thompson.

Saffron Barker

Saffron Barker is a YouTuber and Social Media giant.
She also appeared on the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing where her and I'm A Celebrity 2020 star AJ Pritchard, made it to week 10 of the dancing competition.

Melvin Odoom

Melvin is a well known TV and Radio presenter.

Rickie Haywood-Williams

Rickie is a TV and Radio presenter, working alongside Melvin Odoom.

Kaye Adams

Kaye Adams is a TV presenter and has been a fan favourite on Loose Women since she first joined the show in 1999.

Nadia Sawalha

Nadia Sawalha is an actress and TV presenter and is well-known for being a panellist on Loose Women alongside Kaye Adams.

Charlotte Crosby

Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby is no stranger to reality TV, she is one of the most famous cast members to come from the hit TV show.
She also won the 12th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.

Baga Chipz

Baga Chipz was one of the ten queens to compete in the first series of Drag Race UK, finishing in third place.
Baga has gone on to do a lot of collab work with series winner, The Vivienne.

Lady Leshurr

Lady Leshurr, is a rapper, producer and songwriter and is best known for her Queen's Speech series of freestyles online.

What is The Celebrity Circle?

The Celebrity Circle is a celebrity version of hit Channel 4 reality show, The Circle. The series, which is hosted by Emma Willis, will follow the journey of a group of celebrity contestants who live in a block of flats.

The celebs only way of communicating is via their online profiles, some contestants will play as themselves and the others will take on a celebrity catfish persona.

The celebs competed in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK.

Which celebs were paired together on The Celebrity Circle?

Some of our fave celebrity contestants were paired up on the new series too, this included besties Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks who often work as a duo since appearing on Celebs Go Dating together.

Loose Woman stars, Nadia and Kaye along with presenters Rickie and Melvin, were also taking part in the show as a pair, however, the celebrity double acts controlled just one profile.

Ru Paul's Drag Race star Baga Chipz played as Kim Woodburn.
