She shot to fame in the Netflix docuseries 'Tiger King', which saw millions of people become invested in her private life and her extremely toxic 'enemy' relationship with Joe Exotic. Since then, Carole Baskin has been rumoured to be taking part in all sorts of TV shows.

However, despite Ant and Dec teasing she was part of the I'm A Celeb 2020 line-up on This Morning yesterday (1st September), it has now been announced she's taking part in Dancing With The Stars - the American version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Revealing the news on Twitter, the official account for the American breakfast morning show 'Good Morning America' wrote, 'JUST IN: #TigerKing’s @Carole_Baskin joins the cast of @DancingABC season 29!'

The show then posted an interview clip with the star, who opened up about the reasons why she's signed up to the popular dancing programme.

Carole admitted the past five months since the show's release have been a "nightmare", adding she disliked how the show "villianised" her.

Carole went on to say she'd like to stay in the competition for as long as possible, confessing, "It will keep the cats forefront in the viewers eye and to me, that was where Tiger King missed the ball. It really should have been focused on the animals, and so, I'm hoping Dancing With The Stars will do that."

But Carole isn't the show's only big scoop. They've managed to bag Selling Sunset's Chrisell Stause, Disney star Skai Jackson and actor Jesse Metcalf for the 2020 line-up. Wowee!

Meanwhile, here in the UK, the BBC have been busy announcing the latest celebrities to sign up to Strictly.

Actress Caroline Quentin, The Wanted's Max George, former American footballer Jason Bell, radio DJ Clara Amfo, Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh and Olympic boxer Nicola Adams have all been announced for the show.

Nicola will be paired with a female professional dancer, marking a historic moment for the BBC show, as this will be the first same-sex couple the show has had.
