As the countdown to The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard continues, the host for this year's prestigious ceremony has now been announced. This year's event will take place on Saturday 1st March, once again at the O2 Arena in London, where we can expect a spectacular night of music.

Over the last few years we've had Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp hosting the event, but it's now time for a familiar face to return to the O2 arena, for the UK's biggest night in music.

Who is hosting the BRIT Awards 2025?

It has now been revealed that this year's BRIT Awards will be hosted by Jack Whitehall. Jack presented the awards for four consecutive years, most recently in 2021 after which he stepped down due to work commitments in America.

This year will mark the fifth time Jack has hosted the awards, speaking about the exciting news, Jack said: "They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with The BRIT Awards - it is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be invited back to host in 2025."

Damian Christian who is Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025 added: "I'm excited that we've been able to bring Jack back to host for a fifth time. Jack is a true professional who makes one of the toughest gigs on TV look effortless. His cutting wit will keep everyone on their toes, while his charm and humour will make the audience at home feel closer to the awards."

The nominees and performers for this year's BRIT Awards have yet to be announced, but fans can expect a stellar night of music. Highlights from the 2024 BRITs included performances from Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, and RAYE - who broke a BRITs record.

Jack took over hosting the BRIT Awards in 2018 after Emma Willis and The X Factor's Dermot O'Leary stepped in for 2017's ceremony following Michael Bublé being forced to pull out as his young son Noah was recovering from cancer.

Prior to that, Ant & Dec hosted the show in 2015 and 2016, and James Corden took on the job from 2011 to 2014. Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp hosted the event together last year, but now Jack is back!
