Bruce Fielder, better known as Sigala, has had A LOT of very successful songs, including 'Radio' with MNEK and 'Feels This Good' with Mae Muller, Caity Baser and Stefflon Don, as well as releasing 'Every Cloud - Silver Linings' which he described as the first part of his album.

Who is Sigala?

Sigala is a British DJ/producer who has released several very successful songs, including 'Easy Love', 'Sweet Lovin'', 'Came Here for Love', and 'Wish You Well' and 'Heaven On My Mind' with Becky Hill.

Is Sigala going on tour?

Sigala is not currently on tour in the UK, however he has been announced for Hits Radio Live in Birmingham, which takes place on Friday 22nd November at bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham (formerly Resorts World Arena).

What is Sigala's real name?

Sigala's real name is Bruce Fielder, and he was born and raised in Norfolk. He studied Commercial Music at the University of Westminster, where he achieved a First Class Honours degree.

In an interview with us, he told us the reason behind his stage name. He said: "It was like an old family name, my great-great-grandfather...it was his last name. My mum told me about him, and his name was Amos Sigala, and I was like 'that's a cool name', so I just kind of remembered it."

How old is Sigala?

Sigala's birthday is 1st November 1992, so he is 32-years-old at the time of writing.

What songs has Sigala released?

He has released a lot of songs since his debut 2015 single, 'Easy Love', which reached Number 1 in the UK. Following his initial success he has continued to ride high in the charts, with 'Sweet Lovin'', and 'Lullaby' featuring Paloma Faith. Here are some of his most successful songs...

Sigala 'Easy Love'

The DJ's debut single 'Easy Love' was released in September 2015. The song was a huge success reaching Number 1 in the UK and making the DJ well-known on the dance scene. 'Easy Love' sampled the iconic Jackson 5 song 'ABC' making it immediately catchy.

Sigala 'Sweet Lovin''

'Sweet Lovin'' was the DJ's second single and the follow-up to 'Easy Love'. The song featured vocals from Bryn Christopher, with the accompanying music video including a female rollerskater dressed in a crop top, hot pants and jacket skating down the road in an LA suburb.

As she skates through the city, she encounters others who have unusual talents, ranging from a contortionist to stunt cyclists.

Sigala 'Came Here For Love'

In 2017, he teamed up with Ella Eyre on another very popular song, 'Came Here For Love'. The huge hit reached Number 6 in the UK and the music video has had a massive 150 million views on YouTube at the time of writing!

The music video for 'Came Here For Love' features Ella Eyre dancing around to the upbeat tropical house tune in a stunning location. Ella first shot to fame when she featured on Rudimental's 'Waiting All Night' in 2013.

'Came Here For Love' TikTok trend

'Came Here For Love' had a surge in popularity in the summer of 2024 after being used as the intro song for Love Island USA. Contestants were filmed (awkwardly) dancing to the music with their suitcases, sparking a new TikTok trend and a series of hilarious replica videos — each playing the upbeat summer tune. Even Sigala himself got involved:

Sigala 'Wish You Well'

His single 'Wish You Well' with Becky Hill is about a messy breakup. Becky opened up about it, telling us it happened just two days after her birthday! "I wrote 'Wish You Well' a week later (after breaking up)," Becky told us.

"We broke up because I needed him to learn how to love himself, because he couldn't love me, because he didn't love himself. So, it was kind of a song that was like, I wish him the best, I really hope that it works out for you, because I know it's going to work out for me. So I'm cool, but I hope it works out for you."

Sigala 'We Got Love'

'We Got Love' is a collaboration with Ella Henderson. Sigala announced the new music to his fans with a short clip of the song and a vibrant video showing a building surrounded by pink bushes and covered in bright lights.

Sigala 'Lasting Lover'

In September 2020, Sigala and James Arthur released their collab 'Lasting Lover' which was written by none other than Lewis Capaldi. Speaking about how the collaboration happened, Sigala said: "It has been a very fun journey to take it to where it is now. I have wanted to work with James Arthur for ages, as I love his voice, but because the song came together during lockdown, I wasn’t actually able to meet James in person, so we worked across Zoom for a long time and finally met on the set for the music video - luckily we got on just as well in real life!"

In May 2023, Sigala took to Instagram to share the story behind the track, where he revealed that former One Direction star Liam Payne had been asked to sing on it.

Sigala's album 'Brighter Days'

The DJ/Producer released his album 'Brighter Days' in 2018. The album is full of collaborations, including songs with Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor and French Montana, he has also collaborated with Nile Rodgers, John Newman, Craig David and pop princess Kylie Minogue, on his album.

As well as new songs, 'Brighter Days' also included some of his biggest hits to date, 'Sweet Lovin'' and his Number 1 'Easy Love' which famously samples the Jacksons.

When is Sigala releasing new music?

Sigala has now confirmed he will not be releasing his album 'Every Cloud', however he has recently released new music.

In July 2024, Sigala released a new song called 'It's A Feeling' with Trevor Daniel and 24k Goldn. The song sees the DJ's music now including old-school rave beats, gritty guitars and plenty of anthemic vocal features.

Who would Sigala like to collab with?

Speaking to Mike Toolan backstage at Hits Live, Sigala revealed that he'd love to release a track with Tom Grennan! He said: "We bump into each other a lot at these sort of things and festivals and stuff, and I've written a few songs with him, we haven't quite found that one gem, but I'd love to do something with him."

Does Sigala play any musical instruments?

Yes, he does play some musical instruments. In an interview with us, he told us that he'll, "Pick up a guitar every now and then," going on to explain how he can just play one note and then move it around on a computer!

The DJ has also said in the past that his favourite hobby is playing the piano and described himself as, 'A piano player at heart'.

In December 2022 he shared a video of himself playing the piano, saying: 'New music incoming 👀 can you guess the feature?'.

Is Sigala creating a music course?

He could be! Sigala revealed he would like to start a course to help emerging talent in the music industry. He said to the Daily Star: "I have quite a lot of followers who are into making music or they've just started making music and they want to learn more, and I love that side of it all.

"I have been thinking about doing an online production course, to sort of share some of the things I have learnt. I could be helping out the next Calvin Harris, you never know, they could be out there somewhere!"
