Rita Ora releases 'How To Be Lonely' written by Lewis Capaldi

Rita Ora is back! After filming scenes on the upcoming film TWIST and appearing on The Masked Singer, the 'Let You Love Me' singer is back with her new song 'How To Be Lonely' written by none other than Lewis Capaldi.

Rita started teasing her new single on Sunday 8th March with a video featuring Lewis and Rita, recorded backstage at Hits Live in Birmingham. In the video, Lewis explained that he wrote the song, but thought he couldn't sing it.

The 'Phoenix' singer followed up the video with a letter written, 'To my friends', in which she told her fans, 'The past year has felt like the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new and exciting one!'

She continued, 'I’m so excited to release my new single ‘How To Be Lonely’, a song that I’m very proud of. I’ve loved working with Lewis on this track and it’s been a lot of fun. He’s a great talent and a man of the moment and I really connected with the lyrics when he originally sent it to me.'

Continuing to tease, Rita, looking stunning with blue hair and a Wonder Woman style costume, has since shared a clip of her new song on TikTok.

After releasing her new song, Rita shared the audio on YouTube along with a clip on Twitter saying, 'IT’S HERE!!! #HOWTOBELONELY IS OUT NOW EVERYWHERE!! LISTEN NOW AND DROP ME AHigh voltage signhttp://rita.lnk.to/HTBL' (sic)

'How To Be Lonely' will be Rita's first single of the year, and her follow-up to 'Ritual', her collab with Tiesto and Jonas Blue, released in May 2019.

Rita Ora joined us backstage at Hits Live where she told us she is good friends with former One Direction singer Liam Payne, who she teamed up with on their single 'For You'.
