The nominations for The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard were unveiled live on social media on Thursday 23rd January, during a show called Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard.
The 2025 BRIT Awards features 16 award categories, including Dance Act Supported by KISS, R&B Act Supported by KISS, and Alternative/Rock Act Supported by Absolute Radio. Other categories include Artist of the Year, Group of the Year and Song of the Year with Mastercard.
Who was nominated for a BRIT Award this year?
Following her amazing year in 2024, 'brat' creator Charli XCX led the way with a huge FIVE nominations, including Artist of the Year and Mastercard Album of the Year. It was also good news for Dua Lipa, The Last Dinner Party and Ezra Collective, who all received four noms each.
As well as already being announced the winner of the BRITs Rising Star award, Myles Smith was nominated for a further three awards, with the likes of Benson Boone, Chappell Roan, JADE, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Sam Fender also nominated.

The 2025 BRIT Awards took place on Saturday 1st March from The 02 Arena in London. Music fans were able to witness the biggest night in UK music live on ITV1/STV1, and ITVX/STV Player.
Comedian Jack Whitehall returned to host the ceremony.
