There's been a lot of drama from the TOWIE cast this year; Jon Clark was suspended from filming after he reportedly 'slapped' Diags, Jonathan Cheban joined 'The GC' in Brentwood and Love Island's Kady McDermott had words with Courtney Green and the rest of her pals.
Now it's come to light that popular TOWIE couple Dan Edgar and Amber Turner split just days before Christmas!
According to reports, the pair are devastated with their decision, with a source saying, "They are both heartbroken. Amber does love Dan so it was a really hard decision, especially so close to Christmas but they both agree it's for the best."
The insider went on to reveal that while friends hope the pair will reconcile, they think their split this time is 'final'.
The TOWIE's stars relationship didn't get off to a great start, Amber cheated on her long-term boyfriend Jamie Reed while she was in Tenerife with Dan.
The pair have had a rocky on-off relationship since and in the most recent series of TOWIE, viewers watched the couple struggle when Amber got involved in Courtney Green and Kady McDermott's feud.
The news comes shortly after Dan's ex-girlfriend Kate Wright got engaged to Rio Ferdinand.
