Congratulations are in order for Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh, as the happy couple have welcomed their first child into the world.
Former TOWIE star Lucy and former Coronation Street actor Ryan announced their happy news on Instagram tonight, revealing they have welcomed a healthy baby boy called Roman Ravello Thomas.
Lucy and Ryan's celebrity friends were quick to comment, Catherine Tyldesley wrote, '😍😍😍😍😍 Congratulations guys . Big love xxxxx', with Stacey Solomon adding, 'Super mumma 💛'.
Love Island star Olivia Attwood then added, 'Beautiful name. Congratulations guys 💙💙💙💙💙'. (sic)
In early February, Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan shared the most adorable photo showcasing Lucy's bump, writing, 'See ya soon mate ❤️👶🏽', however, it appears baby Thomas was too snug in Lucy's tummy, with the model revealing to fans in early March that she was now overdue.
Lucy first announced she was pregnant back in August 2019, sharing a sweet snap of her and Ryan holding up a baby grow while she cradled her baby bump. Alongside the photo, she wrote, 'Best birthday present I’ve ever had 👶🤰 love you @ryanthomas84 ❤️'. sic
The couple, who first started dating in 2017 after meeting on reality show Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, announced their engagement in June 2019, when Ryan popped the question on a romantic getaway to the Italian resort of Positano.
Lucy confirmed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a photo of her and Ryan with her engagement ring on full display alongside a caption which read, 'I said YES 💍❤️ @ryanthomas84'. sic
