Lewis Capaldi is well-known by now for his hilarious personality and upfront honesty about life in the public eye - remember the toilet brush incident?! But aside from that, he's one of the biggest pop stars in the industry, even being nominated in the Song of the Year category for 'Someone You Loved' at the ceremony - missing out to Billie Eilish.
However, the Scotsman has divulged a side-splitting story from the night, revealing that he was caught up in a case of mistaken identity at the awards - being mistaken for a seat filler!
At big events like these, organisers ensure there are people on hand waiting at the side to sit in empty seats if a celeb goes to the loo or the bar, and Lew has revealed that someone thought he was one of those... 🙈
He tweeted, 'A lady at the grammys has just come up and offered to take my seat because she thought I was one of the people who sits in the chairs to fill them when someone gets up to use the bathroom 😂😂😂😂😂😂 #GRAMMYs.'
Fans were absolutely loving the story, with many replying to it - one wrote, 'But imagine her face when he sees you walking up on stage receiving an award 🥴🤞🤞', as another added, 'Take her up on the offer when you go to do your acceptance speech.'
In true Lewis style, he also shared a selfie of himself on the toilet at the GRAMMYs - something that has become his trademark move!
