Kym Marsh posts heartbreaking tribute to son Archie on the anniversary of his death
She suffered a late miscarriage 8 years ago
Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has posted a tribute poem to her late son Archie, who passed away eight years ago after Kym suffered a late miscarriage with her then-partner Jamie Lomas.
41-year-old Kym has been very open and honest about her traumatic loss, which happened when she went into premature labour with Archie at just over 21 weeks pregnant. Despite their best efforts, doctors were unable to stop the labour and Archie tragically passed away just minutes after being born.
She bravely took on a similar storyline for her role in Coronation Street earlier this year, which saw her character Michelle lose her son at 23 weeks.

Mum-of-three Kym, who went onto have her daughter Polly two years after losing Archie, posted a heartbreaking poem on her Twitter profile in dedication to her son.
The poem was entitled 'The Cord', and she wrote alongside the picture: 'I love you Archie', with a blue heart emoji.
The poem talked about an invisible cord that connects a mum to her child, even though they aren't with them anymore.
A poignant line in the poem read, "And though you are gone, though you're not here with me, the cord is still there, but no-one can see.
"It pulls at my heart, I am bruised... I am sore, but this cord is my lifeline as never before."
Fans of Kym were quick to send their messages of support to the actress...
Kym's Corrie co-star Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap, also echoed Kym's message when she wrote, 'I didn't talk and I really suffered for not doing so... always in my thought little baby xxx'.
She also posted a message she'd written on her private Instagram account, which read, 'Today is international pregnancy and infant loss day. Today we remember not only our own angel but other people's too. It's still such a taboo subject, baby loss, no-one likes to talk about it, but you know, it's the only thing that helps you find your way back from the darkness.
'It's the only thing that helps you rebuild your jigsaw, helps you learn to accept what's happened, accept you can't bring your baby back, but learn that you're not alone. It's a lonely, lonely place if you're silent.'
She ended the post by pleading with people to help others, 'Encourage those who have lost to share, be there to listen and cry with them if you want to. Let's break the silence.'
Kym's beautiful post came at the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week, seven days dedicated to thinking of those who have lost babies and giving them an opportunity to talk about how they're feeling.
Charities involved in the awareness week consisted of Sands, The Lullaby Trust and The Ectoptic Pregnancy Trust.
