Congratulations are in order for Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and her partner, YouTuber Joe Sugg, as the pair have welcomed their first child into the world.
The happy couple, who met on the show when Joe was a contestant back in 2018, announced their lovely news on social media.
The couple shared a joint post where they confirmed his arrival on 16th March, and revealed the cute name for their new addition, writing: 'Never felt a love like it 💙

How to pronounce the name Bowden
Bowden is a name with Scandinavian, French, and Anglo-Saxon roots. After announcing her son's birth, Dianne shared a photo to her Instagram Story alongside the caption: 'Bowden Sugg - Pronunced Bow like How not Bow like Row'.
Dianne and Joe first announced they were expecting a baby boy back in September 2025, as Dianne was about to take part in the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Sharing a creative video of the pair 'painting a picture', the caption read: 'Our little baby boy ❤️ we cannot wait to meet you'. (sic)
The pair then jetted off to Australia to spend time with Dianne's family for Christmas, with Joe sharing a photo of his girlfriend's growing baby bump in front of the Christmas tree.
In early March 2026, a heavily pregnant Dianne updated her fans, writing on Instagram: 'So in awe of what my body has been able to do during pregnancy I always thought i would struggle mentally with the changes to my body but actually it’s made me appreciate it more than ever before. Can’t wait to meet you darling boy 💙'.
Dianne and Joe first started dating following the 16th series of Strictly in 2018, with the pair going public following the final. Over the last eight years the pair have been totally smitten, moving in together and discussing both marriage and plans to start a family.
