She's already a mum to her two-year-old son Bear Grey Payne, but former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl has opened up about motherhood, admitting she'd love to have more children.

Cheryl, who split from Bear's dad, One Direction singer Liam Payne, last summer, spoke to The Telegraph's Stella magazine, admitting she'd happily consider a sperm donor to have another baby.

She said, "You don’t necessarily need to be in a relationship. I’ve got a friend who has had two children using donors. Not everything has to be conventional.

"You can spend ages looking for the right man, waiting for the perfect time to get pregnant, then the right man might turn out to be the wrong man.

"There are definitely other routes I would consider"

After one of the worst kept secret pregnancies of the decade, Cheryl welcomed Bear into the world in March 2017, with both parents posting the same photo of Liam cradling his son to social media.

The former couple decided to keep their son out of the spotlight, only sharing snaps of his hands and feet on social media, until Cheryl delighted fans in January by posting three photos of her son on her Instagram Story.

Meanwhile, whilst Cheryl is keen on having another baby in the future, it seems we could be seeing a lot more of the singer in the coming months. As well as revealing to fans more music will be arriving in May, the 35-year-old has also been tipped to take the place of Darcey Bussell on Strictly Come Dancing.

After Darcey quit the show last week, Cheryl is now one of the favourites to replace her, with bosses hoping she'd bring a whole new audience to the show.

Despite this, nothing has been confirmed.
