She's not one to post every day on social media, so when former Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl posts on the gram, her fans go absolutely wild.

But Cheryl's latest post, which features her looking stunning in a camouflage top, has baffled some of her followers, as she wrote the caption, 'When she says March-ish but might have meant May .. 👀 (if you know you know)'. sic

One fan wrote, 'MAY?!!! 👀😤', with another adding, 'What is May?!'.

However, the die-hard Cheryl army were quick to realise the singer was in fact talking about her next single release.

After making her comeback and realising her first single in four years, 'Love Made Me Do It' in November 2018, Cheryl previously stated earlier this year that fans would get to hear more new music from her in March.

Appearing on The One Show as she spoke about The Greatest Dancer, Cheryl told hosts her new single would be 'more up tempo', with a March(ish) release in mind.

But it looks like things have been held back, so roll on May!

Meanwhile, as Cheryl celebrated Mother's Day along with the rest of the country on Sunday, her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne delighted fans by calling her a 'super mum' in a very cute post on Instagram.

Sharing a snap of Cheryl during her pregnancy, Liam gushed, 'Happy Mother’s Day to these two amazing super mums not sure what me and the little man🐻would do without you xx'. sic

Cute!
