Following their shock break-up last week, Mac Miller has reportedly been 'arrested' on suspicion of drink driving, after he crashed his Mercedes-Benz G-Class and fled the scene. Upon hearing the news, Mac's ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande has now broken her silence on Twitter.

According to US Weekly, Mac crashed his fancy car into a utility pole in the early hours of Thursday morning and later left the scene with his friend. After police tracked his car registration, Mac was later arrested, before being released on bail a few hours later.

After the shock news, Ariana has now taken to her Twitter account. Despite not actually mentioning Mac's name, the 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer wrote, 'pls take care of yourself' sic, with her 53.6 million followers thinking she was speaking to Mac.

The news of Mac's apparent 'arrest' comes after the pair ended their two-year romance last week.

Sharing a photo of the pair together, Ariana wrote, 'Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you. I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!' sic

The couple, who went public with their romance in 2016, reportedly chose to end their relationship due to their busy work schedules.
