Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement may have been looked upon as something of a whirlwind, but that clearly doesn't mean they are any less serious about each other. Ariana Grande and Pete had only been together a few weeks when he popped the question, but the 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer revealed that they've already set a date for their wedding.

Well, not a date exactly, but they're making it happen for sure in 2019, and revealed that wedding plans are already well and truly underway.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Ariana revealed how she knew she wanted to marry Pete, admitting, "People are always like, ‘When you know, you know,’ and you’re like, 'Oh, yeah, whatever. Ok'.

"But you just feel it. He ticks every box and gets better every day. I’m very grateful for him. Life is beautiful. I’m enjoying every minute because life’s too short."

She added that she and Pete were thinking of tying the knot in 2019, saying, "We’ve been planning and my friends and I, my mum and everybody, have been brainstorming and sharing ideas and stuff. And it’s really fun.

"I work so much that I’ve never spent this much time or energy planning something personal that feeds my soul so much and my heart," adding, "I’m so excited. It’s sick. It’s really fun. But no, it’s not soon, soon. It’s gonna be, like, next year."

Although Pete didn't get involved in the interview, he was watching at the sidelines and supporting Ari through the segment, later posing for a photo with her and host Michael Strahan.

Although the couple had not been together long at all when they decided to become engaged, they've rarely been spotted without each other since getting together in May this year. She even gave him a shout out at the MTV VMAs earlier this week, saying, "Pete Davidson, thanks for existing. Love you."

She's also confirmed that she will have a double-barrel surname, and will be known as Ariana Grande-Davidson from the moment they tie the knot.
