Reasons we LOVE going back to our parents' house at Christmas

It's great to get all the 'kids' back in one place

Christmas is the one time of the year when most families get everyone together. Although it can be a bit difficult getting everyone into the family home, now that there are partners and kids to accommodate, these are the reasons why we love going back to our parents.

Reasons we LOVE going back to our parents' house at Christmas:

1) There'll be an extra present under the tree from Father Christmas

2) Everyone is in one place, which is a rarity now we're adults

3) The crackers are better as our parents buy expensive ones with better prizes. No plastic hair clips for us!

4) We're old enough to appreciate giving as much as receiving

5) We get to see our childhood home and reminisce about the good times

6) We don't have to cook!

7) We know where the secret biscuit tin is, it's still there from when we were kids

8) We don't have to pay for the food and drink!

9) It's the only time you all sit still to watch films together

10) There's more people to help! Everyone has a role to play!

Merry Christmas! 🎄
