Shania Twain honoured with her own Barbie doll
It's for International Women's Day
We're just a couple of days away from International Women's Day 2024, which takes place on 8th March, and to celebrate the annual day country superstar Shania Twain has been honoured with her own Barbie.
Shania's Barbie wears a black top hat and outfit, reminiscent of her 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman!' music video, from 1999. The singer is not only a five-time Grammy winner, she is also set to come to the UK on tour this summer.
Sharing the news on social media, Shania writes: "Ladies and gentlemen... HER 🥹💗
"I am honoured to be recognised as a Barbie role model - I have my own one-of-a-kind Barbie doll!! Pinch me!!
"All I’ve wanted to do my whole life is tell stories of empowerment, independence and self-expression through my songwriting, getting to do that and inspire women and girls along the way is the dream... everything else is a beautiful bonus!
She continues: "It means a lot to expand my responsibility as a role model into the Barbie world, thank you @barbie and Mattel for creating this reflection of me. I love her!!"
